You would have to be on the 5th floor and all the way on the end to get a somewhat view of the strip. However, if you are going to make things so tight like that, why not take the movie and bowling alleys out of your properties? In the end, I hope that Santa Fe and many Station Casino properties get a major update and wakeup call. Look, I understand casinos aren't a place for kids and I'm sure there has been problems in the past. And they weren't hanging around they kept walking to the car. I've had my kids who were doing nothing wrong, leaving a movie and property to go home at 6 at night ( when most movies start by the way) and get rudely escorted out by security. Yes, station made this curfew up themselves, not the city. Because of this, anyone under 18 cannot come on property after 6 pm. Now I know what your thinking: What are minors doing in a casino? For some reason, almost all of the cities family activities ( bowling, and movie theatres) just so happen to be placed in casinos.

Probably my biggest complaint is why are kids treated so badly here at many of Stations properties. Its smells very unclean (which at one time it didn't) and many (not all) but many employees are rude. Our main complaint is how far down this place has went over the years. We win some we lose some, that's how gambling is anywhere. As far as gambling, this is not all the problem. Station Casinos ad about 'We Love Locals' is defiantly not all true. However after Station took over, things went way down. At that time, this place was actually very decent. We have lived in Las Vegas for over 25 years and we were here before Santa Fe was part of Station casinos. Glad we check out today, but at least I have party music floating through the wall to entertain me while I pack. When we asked the front desk, they had no clue at all why it went off. No security help no guidance no announcement of any kind. We stood around a bit then wandered back in. Lastly, our second night at 11:15, the fire alarm went off in the hotel tower only. However, they did not fix their records so it took a while to GET the tv and internet.

Initially they gave us the wrong room but fixed us quickly. There is nowhere in the bathroom to hang a towel or robe or anything. The ‘barn door’ into the bathroom did not slide shut all the way so say goodbye to privacy. I guess for the employees? There was no coffee maker. But beyond that is the freight load in and every morning at 7:30 they started blasting music. Our room on the second floor overlooked the small pool.
